This was the week that was…
Mostly wet. Made 60 Owl and Lion logo badges for the Owl and Lion Gallery which was a great test in time management skills. I passed by the way and had a day to spare. I brought them along in person to the opening there on Thursday night. Amazing intricate jewelry. A big thank you to anyone who went to see the artist book show there last month. Hope you enjoyed it. If you’ve never been to an owl and lion opening, I suggest you try.
Don’t know if anyone caught it, but last year at christmas I brought out a cd of festive inspired tunes. They were in the ‘Red door Gallery’ and ‘Hitherto’ in Glasgow. Well, I’ve nearly finnished the summer one which should be in the shops very soon.
Also on the cards is the rebirth of ‘Skiing really fast in to a…’ which should be in Analogue books in Edinburgh before the end of the Summer.
At present I am working on a new range of badges called ‘the band’.
Bought a new book.
Hey Ewan,
I’d come down from Aberdeen to Edinburgh for the weekend, and was taken to Owl & Lion…where I bought a lovely house card by yourself. I just want to say, what a pleasure it is looking at your work!
Keep up the good work, I hope to purchase more of your delightful drawings!
My wife and I are working on applying for a show at Owl & Lion, so hopefully one day you’ll see our stuff! *(check http://www.g-r-a.co.uk for my wife’s work (I made the site for her).
PS, your flash needs to be a faster FPS (try 24fps, instead of the default 12).
yours, Phil.
